Before taking a perk be very careful since the inherent cost of getting a perk may not be obvious. Nearly everyone has had to reset their character because they selected the wrong perks in the beginning. So it might be good to ask others for advice before taking any perk. Taking a perk at a low level is often highly discouraged. Also some perks can only be obtained by completing quests.
