Where possible, grouping our subcategories into Creatures and Monsters seems to make sense to me... then further grouping by what type of creature/monster it is, and displaying information for the GROUP and specifics about the differences between them (pictures are great here) might make the data more accessible.

I'm working on understanding a wiki technology called Categories or Catagories... my spelling is for the birds. It will enable us to make searching much better by giving us the ability to use key words.
For example the Skeleton Group includes the following creatures:

* Skeleton (Unarmed)

* Armed Skeleton

* Phantom Warrior
Key words would be :

* Skeleton / skeleton

* Phantom

* Warrior

* undead

* etc..
Your ideas on this are appreciated.

With so much out of place due to changes over the years, I went ahead and fully redid the whole list and attempted to make it more clear.

I found Green Snakes to be much easier than Wood Sprites, can anyone else confirm?

- Added Achievement levels for easy reference
+
- Added the creature a/d
+
- Added note at the top that explains that a/d is not the only thing to consider
+
- Reordered several creatures, mostly over changes to them, some because they didn't make sense where they were
+
- Removed sslessar, as this page is primarily for training and it has no spawn (a remnant from the days when it was the only creature in the game that didn't have a spawn)

Per my records, Green Snakes are 18/9 and Wood Sprites are 10/30 A/D so Wood Sprites are MUCH harder to hit - I agree, Wood Sprites are much harder. (Wood Sprites were updated after the combat order page was created)
+
Problem: My memory of lower-level creatures is vague, so I had mostly just a/d to rely on.

Any changes to the order are of course welcome, as I most definitely cannot guarantee the order I did is 100% correct.

This is similar to the green snake deal.

Please include in your "Edit summary" when you edit the reason for the move, though, so we can all be aware of it.
I am at the point where fighting med gargs and armed skeletons is common place, but I've found armed skeletons to be much easier to kill. So I think their spots in the list should be switched. I donnot have stats though, so I'm not sure.

Armed Skeletons A/D 40/35; Gargoyles range from 32/32 to 36/36. I would agree, Armed Skeletons are MUCH harder than any Gargoyles.

Agreed. While they are somehow killed easier than med/large garg, they tend to deal much more damage, and are therefore more dangerous.

Recent changes to lion put them on par with cyclops level. However, I'm not really sure where to place them in the Combat Order list, before or after the clops. I put them before, but didn't train on them so that's a guess. If they should be after, do it. - Burn (Apr. 9, 2009)

The combat order of Gargoyles should be

1 - Small Gargoyle

2 - Tall Gargoyle

3 - Medium Gargoyle

The Medium Gargoyle is by far the toughest. Their attributes small-tall-medium belong probably only to their height – not to their stats. – I always wondered why the were in a different order on this page. I have only been unsure where to put them between other creatures.

So that's why I use the discussion tab. --¨[[User:Munk|Munk]] 07:42, 29 October 2012 (CET)
