Skill Schools
Skill schools are certain areas and buildings of the Eternal Lands where a player can gain more experience in goods producing skill in exchange for the ingredients, in addition to this feature there are buildings in various maps of the game that are called schools without this effect on experience (Arius and Tarsengaard magic schools are probably the best know among the latter).

Description
Skill schools work in a simple way: you mix any item of the appropriate skill and instead of the item you get twice the experience. Failed and critically failed attempts work just like usual. Mixing items of other skills than the school's specialty is not affected.
Note: the recommended skill level of the item you mix has to be above zero for the school effect to happen.

Tailoring
This skill has no schools so far.
Skill academies
Skill academies contain schools for more than one skill and a storage. Currently there are academies in
- Glacmor for Alchemy, Crafting and Potion and
- Willowvine Forest for Manufacturing, the academy also has a magic arena and a summoning arena.
Other skills
Attack and defense
Being the skills with the fastest leveling possible at the moment and with the option to train with other players as well as a special day that doubles the experience, these skills will most likely not get a school.
Harvesting
There most likely won't be a school of any kind for this skill.
Magic
There are areas in the game where offensive spells work but other means of combat do not, Mana Draining does not give experience in these areas. These areas are also referred to as Magic Arenas.
Known locations are
- Tarsengaard Magic School and
- Willowvine Forest skill academy.
Ranging
The closest this skill will get to schools are shooting ranges (there is at least one in game to my knowledge, however I don't know whether it is functional and whether shooting there gives experience).
Summoning
This skill has Summoning arenas, where the mana cost of summoning is halved.
Fast reading areas
There are some areas in the game where a minute spent while reading a book will count as five minutes of reading that book. That means if you spend the whole research time there you will read a book five times as fast as if you had spend that time somewhere else. You will have to keep your food level above zero to research just as you have to in regular areas though.
