Around lvl 40-45 i think it is good idea to train with True Sight spell (from lvls 40-45, of course using magic pot, form lvl 45, not needed). I know maybe TS is a little bit expensive (4 Energy ess, 4 Magic ess, 4 Spirit ess), but you can mix Energy Ess in place at Crystal Cave on DP map, Magic ess in Tarsengaard (Emeralds on Roanoff Island). On this way, you need only to buy spirit essies (or make some nice runs on KF ;-)). The TS spell allows very quick magic lvl development and you can spell it everywhere, no monster or pvp partner needed (so no extra HE/SR or items...). I do this in empty hours sometimes and getting very good xp from it. From lvl 43 to lvl 49 I used only TS spells, and reached in one day, thanks to the Scholars day event :)
