CONTEST

How would you like to prove that you're an awesome artist of unparralleled talent? You would? Grand, just send an image submission to DragonCairn (find him in game for details on how to submit) for what you think the Eternal Lands Wiki should use as a Logo. Keep in mind we want to be able to do this without legal hassle. - More data to come.

Harvest Saturdays

Each week we harvest something different and exciting, please check out our Google Calendar for more information. Don't have access to our Calendar? Here's the steps:

  • Ask any member for a gmail address of a Calendar Admin
  • Either send that person a gmail from your gmail account that is set up in your characters name or send him an email requesting an gmail invite.
    • If you got an invite, be careful, and sign up with your Eternal Lands Character name.
  • Contact Ilobypie or another Calendar Admin for access to our calendar - after a month or two (as in when they think about it) you'll get promoted from VIEW ONLY to being able to CREATE and EDIT events... (Ilobypie will be posting tutorials on how to do so here eventually).

The Teams

Miners

  • These lucky folks deal with radiation, collapsing walls, etc. as well as all the good things that they might strike.
  • Anything other than the target objective that is found while mining belongs to the miner to compensate for the risks. If the miner chooses, they can donate it to the project and the gc value of the find will be divided evenly amongst the participants.

Mules

  • These folks get to be the ones to travel twixt the miners bags and storage.
  • The lead mule (highest EMU) tends to collect all the goods in the end, and distribute them evenly amongst the participants. Basic math skills required.

The Bag Keepers

  • Depending on the number of participants, there will be one to three Bag Keepers.
  • Their role, keep the bags alive, and perhaps mine while doing so.
  • If mining, they should designate an alternate in case of random flight.

How it works

  • Most supplies are provided, but you might wish to bring a spare pick or two just in case we run out.
  • Food is almost always plentiful, come hungry
  • What you do with your share of the the harvested item is your choice.
  • Harvest events usually only run an hour, but might take a little longer to get everything to storage.
  • Please join channel 3571 to communicate during an event
  • If you need something, ask a bag holder
  • Limit the number of bags so that our mules don't have to jump on too many bags.
