• Moved couple of points from User talk:Zarkuu.
• Some things might be worth to discuss, including
  • should "no knowledge required" be printed or no line at all in that case?
  • should a line "no nexus required" be added in case that is so?
  • should the table of contents be forced to the right (see Help:Section) by including

I've been doing this on a couple of pages, looks nice, imo.

• Using this template will also get us to realize some redirects (e.g. in the book and potion department as well as stuff like "Mortar Pestle").
  PS: This will adapt nicely if we ever want to give up on that subdirectory-pita.
• In some cases (thinking mostly summoning) it might be nice to check if the [[Image:item]] does exist and not show the image-link if it doesn't, however one could also argue that the link might create an incentive to add more images, which would be a good thing.

• I we move manu thing to that kind of format we should better write script who does most of the work for us?! I'll see if I can make one.
• Would be nice to add some extra parameters like:
  • Usage
  • Stats (for weapons)
  • head & categorie.

• I left out header/Category because then I couldn't use it anywhere on the page (needed for summoning)
• most pages with the exceptions of Weapons are already transformed
• stats/usage beyond a short description might be integrated with a different template that simply uses this one to create more of a page than what this template does (i.e. another template could take all parameters of this template and more, then call this template with the appropriate parameters and use the other ones however it's desired)
• The problem with getting all the uses into a template (please create a separate one for that!) is that the programming possibilities with the wiki are very limited and you'd have to check for a possibly very large list of uses separated into lists and sublists (e.g. Alchemy -> Essences -> Fire Essence)
• for a short description below the picture use the desc parameter, takes links, lists etc. as well.
• there is an Template:Armour/StatsTB that shows armor stats, I've been using that on the armor pages, I would like to make one for Weapons as well, but due to the many possible stats of weapons I don't want to use a static one for that (my attempts at creating a non-static Template:ArmorStats didn't work out); for that I need an extension, please support me here.

Reminder

Changing this template will change all pages on the wiki that use it (that's about all pages that describe a productive process).
