Ethereal and Material damage
A mana burn is an attack that reduces an opponent's ethereal and material points simultaneously. Unlike a mana drain, a mana burn does not transfer ethereal points to the attacker.
Players can perform a mana burn by using:
Mana Burn Ward, an engineering item
Dragon Blade, a two-handed weapon
Staff of the Mage, a two-handed special weapon
Cutlass of the Mage, a special sword
Fire bolts, a type of ammunition for crossbows
The following creatures can perform a mana burn:
Bears usually inflict 20-30 damage on both material and ethereal points when they perform a mana burn.
