I think that formula for MD can be 20(25) + (mag lvl/5) + (ratio/2) - mag resistance. For pvp formula will be added "- ((enemy)ratio/2)" part.

even astro aside, results seems to vary a lot with each attempt.

current stats : magic 40 / rationality 19

  • giant spider : 20, 24, 26, 27, 29, 30 (max) MP
  • grizzly bear : 21, 23, 24, 24, 24, 25, 25, 26, 26, 27, 27, 27, 28, 28, 29, 29, 29 MP
