Administrators and bureaucrats are trusted with a few more rights than the average editor. Basically, they can:
- delete pages (though deleted pages are basically just invisible to everyone),
- edit some special pages (e.g. system messages and the sidebar),
- change user rights (done by bureaucrats only) and merge users.
Without those permissions, you can instead do the following:
- To request the deletion of a page, add the category
[[Category:Deletion requests]]
to the bottom of the page you wish to be deleted, and possibly notify an admin/bureaucrat. - To request the editing of a message/page/part of the wiki that you are not able to edit, it's best to start a thread in our forums. If you don't have an account on the forums, read the Main Page for requirements first.
- To request that your user rights be changed, contact a bureaucrat in the game or by email. You can use the "email user" feature of the wiki.
If you want to join the bureaucratic or administrative staff of the EL-Wiki, contact Ermabwed, and explain why. Wiki-related experience is obviously welcome, as well as help with the forums, especially in organising the content in the Quests and Secrets forums, both of which are highly intertwined with the wiki.
