Personally, I am not convinced that [[Category:Spells]] (or Magic or anything else in that form) is enhancing a reader's experience of the wiki. I mean, if you want to direct a user to Spells why would you want to link them to Special:Categories and add "[[]]" as well? I think if you want to point out that you are linking to the category and not to a regular page, you could just say Spells (category) or something along those lines.
